ABOUT
Since releasing his first solo acoustic track as Cujo Moon in 2020, Trevor Willmott’s alt/folk project has reached over 25 million streams across Spotify, Apple Music, & Amazon Music, landed multiple TV/film syncs including NBC's This Is Us, and has received positive reviews from top magazines like CLASH, Atwood, Under The Radar, and more. Drawing on inspirations like Nick Drake, Bon Iver, and Sigur Ros, the songs are both atmospheric and intimate with lyrics that reflect on a healing headspace. Partnered with Tone Tree Music out of Nashville, TN, Trevor has new music slated for release throughout 2025.
In addition to his career as a solo artist/producer, Trevor has racked up over 20 years of professional teaching experience and 27 years as a guitarist/musician. During this time, he has developed an effective, unique, and fun style of teaching. With countless hours of practice in nearly every genre, Trevor designs custom curriculum to meet the needs of each student as they progress through their journey. Because no student is the same, this personalized approach has proven the most effective for inspiring a passion in music and the motivation to keep learning.
After graduating Belmont University in 2012 with a Bachelor's of Music in Jazz Guitar, Trevor has continued teaching, writing, recording, and performing music nationwide. Having taught students from ages 3-80 years old, Trevor is a patient and encouraging teacher who believes in positive reinforcement and open communication during lessons.
