The best guitar lessons Nashville has to offer…FREE!

We've now made it easier than ever to start playing guitar! All you have to do is sign up below (or call/email) and we will book your first two lessons at no charge (most of our teachers offer this, though some are just 50% off the initial sign-ups). We will even provide a guitar for use during the lessons which means absolutely no initial investment is necessary.

We've done this because we understand that committing to something like music lessons can often be overwhelming at first. This will give you a chance to try the program without any financial pressure.

Teaching Calendar

Roughly 7 weeks per year will be set aside for holidays and breaks. Students who pay monthly will schedule, in advance, 3-4 lessons per month. If the teacher cancels, there will always be a make-up lesson. If a student cancels the day of, the teacher will attempt to make-up one lesson per month at no charge (for the “4 Monthly Plan” ONLY). On months where 3-4 lessons cannot be scheduled in advance, the student will pay the “à la carte” rate.

A typical yearly schedule will line up closely with the local county’s school breaks: 1 week for Fall Break, 1 week for Thanksgiving Break, 2 weeks for Christmas/New Year, 1 week for Spring Break, 1 week sometime during Summer Break, and then 1 extra floating week. Occasional breaks from lessons are important for both students and teachers to recharge, stay motivated, and continue with a positive and inspired mindset. This may vary from teacher to teacher.

No Guitar?  No Problem.

We will help you determine the best guitar for your needs. You can even try various guitars at most GLP Studios to see what types you prefer the most. The biggest decision to make is between electric, acoustic (steel string), or classical (nylon string). We will talk about your goals and make a decision from there. You really can't go wrong in most situations, but sometimes one type of guitar will be more suited for a student's path than another.

So if you are worried about the process of buying the right guitar at the best price, have no fear! We will give you plenty of guidance and options at various price ranges to help you feel confident in your choice.
